I prefer tampons over bulky, nasty pads! Please try them. But, for pads, it depends on your flow. I never left a pad on for more than 4 hours. Because even if it's not "full" it becomes... ummm... stinky and unpleasant. If you choose pads, change often and use a feminine wipe to clean up. If you choose tampons you'll never be "stinky and unpleasant". Lol.

Cleanliness is the big issue here. I would say every 4-6 hours and more often if you have very heavy flow. Pads are a breeding ground for bacteria, so when in doubt, change it. By the way, congrats on your first period!

HUH?? As often as necessary. I suppose you would go through 5-10 per day, but it would alo depend on how heavy or light your period is. Tampons are better in my opinion.

If you're a girl...it's pretty obvious when you need to change. When it's all full, lol. So depending on your flow, that could be once a day...twice...10 times...who knows.
