I'm having a problem with my PS 2 Memory Card. My game won't save because it says i need a Memory Card with 1378KB. I have an 8MB Memory Card. Whats the problem?

When i view the contents on the Card (with the game in), it says the card is empty

You probably don't have enough free space on the card left. Go into your browser (start the PS2 without a game in the drive) and pick the memory card and clear out some old saved games to make the room.

OK based on the question and additional details all I could think is that somehow your memory card isn't formatted. I have no idea how this happens but other people have had this problem before if I am not mistaken. Try going into the memory card's contents and see if there is some way to format it or something.

Does your memory card have things on it? That message usally means all your memory is already gone....if that is the case you need to go in and get rid of some of the other games. If this isn't the case then you need to go back to where you bought it and tell them the problem...that way you will get a new one!

You probly have to much saved on it and it doesn't have any more room. There is a limit to what you can save on one memory card. Either delete some of the info on that memory card or buy a new one.

Erase some of the games that you had played in the pass, maybe that will liberate some space

try restarting the console and if that doesn't work try ps2's troubleshooting website
