because i don't have one, what do i need to get started ? its just that i have loads of things i can sell, do they have to be new and who pays for the post,,,, thanks

it does cost money to list on eBay, that is how they make their money. all thoes add on's like a reserve price and other "extras" also cost a few more pennies, but that is how eBay makes their living. As far as using a credit card, I do believe you have to have one. Or at least a paypal account. If you don't have a credit card then I suggest you look into paypal.

No, you don't need a credit card. You can set up a paypal account for free as long as you have a bank account and this will permit you to buy or sell on ebay.
You do have to pay to sell things but it is dependant on the asking price/final price of the item you are selling. If you go to ebay and look through the sellers guide it will give you a table so you know what you will have to pay.

you need a credit card, and to sell stuff on ebay it isn't free. You have to pay ebay when something is sold, and through a paypal account or credit card, thats how they get paid.

you shouldnt need a credit card and yes it costs to list things and then ebay will take a percentage of the profit that you sell your item for.

just to register for an ebay account, you need a credit card. also, they take out a percentage of the fianl price. the percentage depends on how much the item sells for.
