The ex-husband lies to the boys and makes promises then never follows thru and now he is being me to court because I refer to the boys as my sons...to understand this, we are a blended familyof my,her's and ours...no one in the house is refered to as step child or step parent...I was raised by a step mom and my wife was adopted...love and guidence is what makes a parent ....please any advice

well let him take you too court the judge should tell you the same thing....if the children want to call you their father then the courts and no one else can stop them....they are your children they depend on you as support to them and a father figure in their life and make no changes for any one....that and if he tells the children that its wrong.... then you have the upper hand in it because then its mental abuse and he can get into trouble.....so then the tables can turn and people like that don't need to be in the child's life....i came from a blended family sort of but my mom's ex took me with the other 3 children because he didn't think that it was right for me to stay by my self with the others gone all weekend so i went right along with them.....and more family's need the same type of raising that your giving....if we had that many people like you and me in the world we wouldn't have all the hate here...me and my ex are friends and so is his wife i take her kids and she takes mine and my daughters love her to death and the same with her daughters with me....they are children and they need guidance all the time and beings your doing that the judge will rule in your court....good luck

I admire you for this. This man should appreciate you for trying to be a good stepfather to his sons. There is nothing he can do to stop you from refering to them as your sons. I think the court with smile on what you are trying to do. Keep up the good work..

HE'S TRYING TO MAKE YOUR LIFE MISERABLE LIKE HIS..
YOU ARE DOING THE RIGHT THING.. CONTINUE ON CLAIMING THEM AS YOUR OWN.BECAUSE THEY ARE.. ONCE YOU TOOK ON THE MOTHER. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.AND DON'T BECOME STUPID BECAUSE HE'S DOING IT..ITS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A STEP PARENT. JUST AS LONG AS YOU RE DOING YOUR PART TO HELP HER RAISE THEM TO BE PRODUCTIVE YOUNG INDIVIDUAL
