I want to see if my personal reason is stupid so I can forget about it, or maybe someone can enlighten me and change my mind. My husband's sperm is weak and we are having a lot of trouble this time. Everyone else makes it look so easy. Thanks.

Sorry to be answering your question in the negative, but nobody here will be able to come up with a good reason for you. Read them all carefully. There won't be a single one that isn't about the answerer. It's all ME ME ME, what the answerer wants, extremely selfish. It will never be an unselfish reason.

unfortunately there is no real good reason why someone should have a baby. lots of people go their whole lives without having children and can still say they wouldnt have done things different. everyone is different and a baby is not meant for everyone. however, there nice pros to having a baby, like the love you find you can have for something, you have created life, they bring more joy then words may describe, they keep you young at heart, and you get to pass your knowledge and stories and experiences on to someone else. dont give up though girly, if you really want a child, no one is going to be able to change your mind, i am sure there is something you can do, and some people dont concieve for years, but if this is what u want.. dont ever give up. good luck girly!! your own personal reasons are all the reasons u need. = )

Everyone has different reasons for wanting to have a baby.It gives someone a sense of responsibility, reason to live and all the uuhs and aahs when people see your cute little bundle. For some its to maintain their lineage. You wouldnt like to die and leave no one behind to go on.
Its easier for some people to get pg like me.I was off the pill for a week and scored.Am now 8 weeks.Keep trying and always keep in mind that its not a task but a way of expressing love so enjoy the moment and good luck.

your children can be a wonderful blessing. Unless you have kids you will never understand that kind of love. It is scarey sometimes to think how much I love my son, he is everything to me. Some people choose not to have kids which doesn 't make them bad. I have a had bad experiences in the past with pregnancy and you know what...........it was all worth it in the end. The one lady said that you may have all the material things in life but when your 80 but none of that will matter if you don't have anyone to share it with. Another thing I always notice, when people don't really deserve kids (like druggies and bad people) they are always the ones who are the most fertile. Ones like us who are good people always struggle. This a generalization, and not meant to offend anyone, this is just my personal experiences.

my reason to have a baby was, to make and raise someone better than me and try to raise someone who will be able to make a good change in our world, eve a very small one.
But I have to tell you that it was not easy for me either, it takes time and I was going to give up. I use to think getting pregnant is the hardest part but now that I am almost 37 weeks I know that each months of it comes with worry and joy...
and trust God if he wish you to have a baby you will, but you have to do what ever you think is right in the other hand.
wish you luck

Julia Sophia...like it!!! 10/10 Victoria Jane...i do no longer likely like the call Victoria or Jane so...3/10 Grace Elizabeth might desire to bypass any incorrect way around. Elizabeth Grace in basic terms sounds lots extra suitable to me. 5/10 Rebecca Michelle is stable. 6/10 Hannah Christine is stable yet i do no longer likely like the "Christine" section. possibly something like Hannah Marie or perhaps Hannah Christina is extra suitable.7/10 Jonathan David is classic. yet i like it. 9/10 Nicholas Aaron is amazing. 9/10 Thomas Alexander...Love the two a style of names. 10/10 Daniel James is impressive. 8/10 Christopher Isaac is high quality. Love the call Isaac, no longer so prepared on Christopher. 6/10. somewhat stable names. i like Julia Sophia and Thomas Alexander the terrific :)

Honey there are many reasons to want a baby. Any reason you want is a good one. I had my children because I wanted to teach them the things that I was taught and I wanted to have a family and do things together. I know it looks easy for some people, but you know in your heart that there is nothing you are doing to cause it to not happen. Stick with your guns. One of my friends had a similar issue with her SO and they ended up conceiving and having beautiful twin girls. Hang in there and please remember, it is your reason and no one can tell you it is stupid.

I had my baby because hubby & I were ready to start a family. As a teacher, I love children and wanted to have my own someday.

I have one 8 month old son and he has brought so much joy to my life!! Babies are very lovable.

Just make sure that you are financially & mentally ready.

As long as you are financially stable, then don't worry about whether or not your reason is good. Wanting a baby was enough to convince me it was time, so go for it.
