Should Chrisitans always forgive those who have killed thier loved ones, steal their money or burned down their houses? Should Enron retirees forgive Kenneth Lay? Kenneth Lay was a Christian. Did he forgive himself before he died? He said he didn't do anything wrong, so he really didn't need to forgive himself.

forgiving is hard, it's not because your religion commands you to be forgiving that you automatically will...

No one said it's easy, but a true Christian would forgive. I don't know of Yoko Ono is a christian, sometimes it seems that she's not from Earth. LOL

Bottom line : Christians are unable to live up to the standards that they set for others. This is the single biggest reason they are on the receiving end of so much criticism and ridicule (or, as some would term it, "bashing").
FYI, I don't think Yoko claims to be a Christian. I've never heard that.

Christian or not I don't think I would be able to forgive someone for murdering my husband and leaving me to raise a small child. Some acts are totally unforgivable.

I believe to be a Christian and be forgiven you have to admit your wrongs and ask forgiveness. As I Christian I believe we should be forgiving....least we be judged!!
