Since these early times, liqueurs have continued to be developed in every part of the world and of every possible description. Dutch-made Curacao dates back to the 1500s; Italian Fragelico, according to legend, was created by a hermit living along the banks of the Po River about the same time. Each liqueur seems to have its own story, often related with great relish on the bottle back labels.
