I'm not sure if I should use superglue since it may contain chemicals that are released when heated, and I don't want them going into my food. It broke into three large pieces. Should I even try to fix it, or look for a new one somewhere?

Record the model number on the unit and access the manufacturer's website. Re-order a replacement glass and your back in the cooking business.

I'm not too worried about the gasses, as I don't think you'd have that much glue, although you wouldn't want food to come into contact with it. I don't know how super glue behaves under continuous exposure to microwaves, though. It may not last.

Suspect you're better off just trying to find a new one. Or look for a microwave at a junkyard, or buy a really cheap one just for the glass, if you can't find one on eBay or something.

You have to buy a new one. Microwave ovens are so cheap now it might be best to just buy a new one.
