The only categories he'd lead the league in would be fumbles and injuries.

There's a big difference between being a running QB and an actual running back. Vick is good at being the first, but I don't think he'd fare well as the latter. For one thing, he doesn't hold the ball well when he runs, which is why it's so often slapped out of his hand. Secondly, he still hasn't learned how to take a hit properly, or when he should just go down.

It's a lot easier to run, too, when you're working from a pocket where 6-7 guys are engaged downfield leaving you room to run. It's a much different scenario when you're running at a 7-man line immediately after the snap.

I think Vick is a great running QB, but I think he's better off working on how to be a good all-around passer, rather than becoming a running back.

I,m going to have to disagree with you . First Michael Vick has never played running back. Secondly Michael is a qua rater back and these are two different poss ions. Just because you can run fast does not mean that you can play running back in the NFL ask Renaldo Nehemiah track star. Michael Vick would be great if he had a couch that had the experience to know what to do with him were all looking at this guy and we don,t know what to make of him I know he is a great talent and maybe the best all around athlete ever to play there the Falcons just don,t know what to do with him and don,t know how to build a system around him it would be like taking Payton Manning and running the wishbone it would not work so I don,t blame Michael Vick I blame his coach

Well, theres no way Vick could survive as a running back in the NFL, hes way to small and literally would have to retire in a year. I do see what you mean but the only reason he can run like he does is because of the position he plays. Atlanta really needs to make use of his extraordinary talent and stop wasteing him. If there wide outs stop dropping balls Vick will be a one of kind hall of famer

well if he were to bulk up then i would switch him to runningback and split the carries between vick dunn and norwood and use matt schaub as a qb i think that would help them out more in the long run then vick being a qb

No, they would be gunning for him out there and it would make it difficult for him to gain big yards. he is faster then anybody, but he's been a qb he whole life and switch to a running back in the nfl is really tough. if he were still in college i belive he could but the transition in the nfl, would be to hard.

yeah i do agree with you . the falcons need to play shab at QB and make Vick one of the expensive paid back in the NFL because they can't trade him with his salary got to let Vick make his money somewhere

I really doubt he would be able to break a lot of tackles because look at his teammate warrick dunn and he's a lot faster.

u are stupid, he is weak as hell compare to all the runerbacks adn he cant take hits, he is just good at scrimmbling( which is when everymen is covered and he is open!!) QBs are designed to pass and not to get smashed
