I'm looking at how many people exploit peoples beliefs for monetary gain...and boy are they gaining:

Here's a guy who says he's Jesus and is making millions:

Here's a guy who's got more money than god doing basically the same thing:

These types of flamboyant preachers are making billions of dollars a year tax free on the backs of the working class, the elderly, and people who would normally know better...the graft is unmeasurable..

The human mind is weak and there are some of them con artist taking advantage of that, there was a preacher on tv, Jimmy Swaggart who stole millions from people, furthermore he convinced an old lady from California to leave him all her will, and she did, then the family was contesting the will but I never found out the outcome, they finally found this guy was preaching one thing and go with the whores at night, they put him out of business, but the list is long and they all live in mansions, I won't give a dime to any of them crooks, however there are people still funding their fraudulent activities..☺

People have been fooled/conned by "flim-flam" men since the beginning of time. Now, those con-artists just have a larger and more easily accessible audience (thanks to the internet and television). A fool and his money are soon (and easily) parted.
One reason people send their money to these fakes is because they're promised wealth and prosperity if they do. "Send us $100 and God will bless you!!! "Plant a seed!" "Send us your seed offering!" There are tons of these catch phrases that they ALL use and people fall for them every day. People expect something for nothing, and that's pretty much what these fakes promise. Sad isn't it?

I agree it is a business and the money people have given was for a greater need and many were left abandoned by their words when they found them self in need. That is one reason God encourages husbands to be high priest of their home and family he is to be under the authority of God.and charity begins at home. keep your money and your faith in the word of God.

notice maximum of your solutions are from the atheist/agnostic crowd. even with the undeniable fact that it would not ask your self me to take heed to it of Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, and Kenneth Copeland. It does slightly of Pat Robertson. they are all prosperity preachers which fairly isn't Biblical.

You are so right on!

Even Jesus threw the money changers and people trying to make money, out of the temple!

GOD smiles at us and then laughs and laughs.

GOD bless!
