The war is over and has been over for some time.
Now we are just dealing with a bunch of cowards that like to jump borders. In the morning they shoot at us then jump over the border to Iran or what ever other country and wave at us because we can't get them. In this situation there is no end in sight. Its not like we are fighting the Iraqis. They like us here. Its their own neighbors causing the trouble. They just don't shoot at us they have killed more civilians than Americans. Which does not make sense. You have 50 different groups killing each other and do not know what they want. Even if we were not there they still would be killing each other for no real reason. If we were to pull out today it would still be going on. Then the next dictator would come back and bite us for pulling out. Its a sad thing. You may not agree with me but you are not getting shot at.

Yep. It's going to end in January of 2009 when the next president gets sworn in. If the new president is a Democrat, that is. If it's a Republican, we can all look forward to another four, perhaps eight, years of war. Gee, it's almost as fun as watching to see if the groundhog is going to see his shadow every February 2!

Your a very ignorant and naive person if you think that asking that question like that "going to end any time soon" is a good idea.
