ill concede there are a percentige that have had hard upbringing but the majority are just scum that dont deserve to use the worlds resourses

When anyone suffers from such anti-social behavior and violence they may well feel like taking the law into their own hands.
I actually admit that a few years ago, when I was a student in Manchester, I and my class mate (a girl) were attacked on the back of an upstairs buss by 2 chavs, the attack was totally unprovoced, they just got on the buss started spitting on elderly people and saying they were going to smash the bottle over someones head, you would have thought that everyone on the buss would band together and chuck them off or something right? Well no! They ended up trying to hit me with the bottle when I wanted to get off, luckily they were just around 16 - 17 and fairly scrawny and I managed to look after myself.
Although I saw red at the time, I can't really hate them. They, like thousands of other youths would have been brought up by depraved, abussive or uncaring parents. Combine this with the system we have for deeling with social problems and you can begin to see why we have so many people like this.
It's them you should pitty and feel sorry for. From the moment they are born, what chances do they really have? Of having a good life? Getting educated? Finding well paid honest work? In most cases none!
I don't sympathise with what they do or the lives that they effect. Unless they are directly bothering you, I'd just forget about them and get on with your life.

Definatly. Susan Sto Helit has it right, people wanting to be parents should be made to pass an exam beforehand, not just the practical...

I have often thought that the STOCKS should be brought back...if they feel that wearing an ASBO is such a badge of honour then see how they feel about wearing a rotten egg or tomato.

what do you consider chav scum.. do mean kids you have nothing to do and no where to go and hang out.. or do mean the teenager who doesn't want to home because his dad a drunk and his mom a addict or maybe the girl who don't want to go home because dad is too friendly .. or maybe these kids you see ran away from some condition in their home that they cant tolerate.. as long as they are leaving people alone and are not out there causing trouble what harm does it do
