why shouldnt i use limewire for free mp3s?

ive been reading some responses and loads of people say not to use limewire. why?

If you get caught downloading MP3's, the government will fry you to a crisp.

It's illegal. You get fined, and your pay wage is docked until you die, and you could spend a good chunk of time in prison.
