The rebound bf easy. Recently my bf of a few months (6) who was a rebound from another long term relationship has started wanting to get serious even brought up marriage asking how i would react if he proposed christmas day in front of my whole family. I do not have those type of feelings for him though i do care about him and like him as a friend but i dont want to hurt him.I am still in love with my ex.bf and realize now that we were both being imature and stubborn. He contacted me around thanksgiving to tell me he still loved me and we have been talking since by phone and e-mail to get to now each other again.I feel bad and dont now how to break this too my bf and dont want to cheat on him.

Do whatever it takes to get the courage to tell him, and the sooner the better. Do it before he goes out and buys a ring. He deserves better than you're treating him. He is an innocent person in this scenario. Tell him today. Yes, he will be hurt, but not as bad as he will be if he buys a ring, then you tell him.

You need to be perfectly honest with your current boyfriend. Don't hurt him, he doesn't deserve that. Make sure you tell him not to propose to you on Christmas day.....that if he does, you'll tell him no....so tell him this ahead of time to save him some embarrassment. Whatever you do, consider your past relationship and the reason why you two broke up.....before you reconsider him as a boyfriend. Think about everything, don't act on impulse. Best of luck to you.

Don't be a miserable indecisive idiot! You already realized your mistake and would even take it back if you could. Well guess what: you can and you should! Especially If you have more feelings for your ex and less for your current. So stop pondering do the right thing

I read thst you distance yourself for a about two weeks to let him get a little bit of idea of what might happen. Then you need to be honest with him and tell him you appeciate his friendship but thats all it can be.
