Too far for a bike, unless you have 2,5 hours.

Take the train from Amsterdam central to castricum. Change in Castricum to a bus (164).
It depends om the street you want to go. I tried the city hall (stadhuis). (leave at .13, .43 and .55, .13 is the shortest) This journey takes less than an hour. It is less than 50 kilometres
