Whoa, man...slow down! The 110th Congress doesn't take office until January 4th (I have it marked on my calendar). We're still in the lame duck session (actually it ended yesterday) of Congress with the Republicans still in the majority.
You have to have investigations first. Once the investigations begin, subpoenas served and hearings conducted, then we can start talking about impeachment.
Granted the evidence of an impeachable offense is obviously present (illegal wiretapping alone is an impeachable offense). You have to have the hearings & investigations. I don't think that Rep. John Conyers (D-Mi) is going to leave any stones unturned. He'll be the head of the House Judiciary Committee and, if you'll recall, he was one of those congressmen that was singled out by Nixon to be wiretapped during Watergate. He'll be responsible for drawing up the charges and conducting the hearings.
And I'm sure he's licking his chops in anticipation.
To the guy that responded before me, Bill Clinton WAS impeached, he just wasn't removed from office. Sounds like YOU need to learn the facts, bud.

Here it is---You heard it here first maybe---haven't looked at other answers yet.
Impeachment takes place in the House. For all his time in office up until next January when the new Congress is sworn in, he has had a comfortable Republican majority. The trial of an impeachment takes place in the Senate---same situation.
Now, if there were to be an impeachment & conviction, Chaney would become President. Is that what we really want? Remember, he'd be eligible to run for Pres. in 2008, and for re election in 2012 if he won.
As it stands now, Bush & his stooge are history in January, 2009, and with a safe Democratic majority in Congress, he no longer has a blank check to f*** everything up.
So I prefer to let him stay on, as being the lesser of evils.

President Bush acted on faulty intelligence, he did not not lie
under oath to a congressional committee. That lie should have
had Bill Clinton impeached. It didn't.
Learn the facts before you make rash statements.
This question is like calling someone on the phone and asking if
they have Prince Albert in a can or if your refrigerator is running.
As a matter of fact why don't you go do that and stop
pestering the grown ups.
Thank you very much, while you're up!!!!

the problem is that the Democrats haven't conducted a witch hunt like the Republicans did in Clinton's case. Several years and in excess of $30 million were spent trying to dig up dirt on Clinton in the Whitewater case. They found none. Instead, during the grand jury, they asked him about Monica. The question should not have been allowed. It wasn't pertinent to the Whitewater case. Even it allowed, it shouldn't have been perjury as it wasn't pertinent to the case. It was a witch hunt and they know it. If I had that much time and that much money, I could find the Pope guilty of something. Yet, they couldn't find Clinton guilty of any wrongdoing.

So you think perjury and obstruction of justice are not good reasons for impeaching a President but defending the country from terrorist scum who want to kill you is a reason to impeach a President.
Curious, very curious...

KP take a civics course for pete's sake.
Impeach???? They all know nothing can be proven and it will simply be a ploy to weaken the Republican agenda. If it is used it will actuall be at the cost of our brave American soldiers lives.
We should Fight to Unite rather than Divide and be conquered!
