Some of the answers before this one are crazy the Suns will NEVER trade Bell and Marion for AI and the Heat won't trade Shaq for him either. The most likely team he's gonna go to is the Timberwolves.

I can definitely tell you where he won't go - any team in the East unless the Sixers get really desperate. The 76ers know that trading him to a team in their conference would be a bad move - they'll have to play him more times that way, and it could affect any playoff goals they have. (Yes, I know they are 5 and 13, but the season is young, anything can happen)

Two popular opinions and why I think both are suspect:

Timberwolves - This is really the best situation for the Timberwolves. By getting AI, they can make Garnett happy, and I honestly think the two will play well together. I mean, AI wants the ball, and Garnett is one of the most unselfish forwards in the game and therefore would be willing to give him the ball. The issue is - Who can Minnesota trade? It's not they are that deep of a team, and if I was the 76ers, I would really be using this trade to get players who will help me build a strong core of young players who will help my franchise grow in the coming seasons. Personally, I'd love to see this, but I don't think it's a smart move for the Sixers.

Nuggets - This is a smart move for the Sixers but not the Nuggets. This will only happen if the Nuggets are willing to give up the long term stability they've been creating for short term gains. Personally, I think this would be a bad move on their part. They are so hot right now and their chemistry is so wonderful now that K-Mart is injured, that trading for AI could backfire on them. That said, Nene and Andre Miller would probably be enough incentive for the 76ers. I really hope the Nuggets do not do this though!

What I'm pulling for:

Sacramento - This is a deal that I can see happening, probably involving Mike Bibby. Depending on what the Sixers could work out with the Maloof brothers, this could be a mutually beneficial deal.

Ya, the answers before this are very ridiculous. Kobe and AI can't possibly get along. They average 30 ppg every year and why would the Lakers want to ruin the terrific team chemistry they have right now. The Heat wouldn't do it either. Wade and AI on the same team?? Are you serious??? And get rid of Shaq???

It will most likely be the T'Wolves, Nuggets or Celtics. I'm really pulling for the Celtics. They need to get back into the Boston Sports Scene. The Patriots are unbelievable, as well as the Red Sox. Hell, the Bruins are even winning now. The Celtics are in their own little world, and unless, they trade for AI now, Boston Sports Fans in general won't be interested in the Celtics until all the young guns develop, which, by watching them right now, could take a very, very long time. Danny Ainge, if you have any brains, you make this deal now. It's what Celtics fans have been waiting for since their last championship in 86. Hell, you were on that team Danny. You know something has got to change when YOU were on the last championship team. Make the deal. You will not regret it. I guarantee that most of our young guys will end up with OK NBA careers. Do the move, Danny, do the move.

According to reports, he is most likely to go to the T'Wolves, Dallas, or Celtics.

Timberwolves will have probably the biggest chance of getting him. The organization is planning to get Stephon Marbury back with a trade but now that A.I.'s open, theyll consider him too. Garnett's gonna be happy if this trade falls through, and I probably think Davis + Foye to Philly is a good deal. Anyway, we all know Iverson >>>>>>> Marbury

Sixers and Billy king (the president of 76ers) want Devin Harris from the Mavs. This could be a good deal, but probably wont fall through, since Mark Cuban said he will never, ever trade Devin. But who knows, maybe he'll change his mind.

Celts are also interested. They have no good SG and would most likely to trade young players like Telfair, Rondo, or West to get A.I.

If I was to pick, Id choose T'Wolves. Both Garnett and AI have been unhappy with their teams considering they have no back-up players, so them two working in a Western powerhouse would be a tough show to watch. And both clearly deserve championship rings, we're close at getting it, but we're unlucky and outplayed.

But you gotta admit, Iverson in another uniform seems pretty weird, he's been the face of Philly the past decade.

I think he will try to go to Suns... I trade with both Raja Bell and Shawn Marion should be fair enough.... But I think, even after it's fair, Suns won't agree... The have a good roster already with an awesome backup.... If they are to trade Marion and Bell, their roster will still be like the same, but when you trade, you aren't ready for alll the new things the coaches will teach you.... That might lead up to a disadvantage....
The second team I think he should be traded to is the Miami Heats.... For Shaq.... Shaq used to be a great player... He's field percent was awesome and is still awesome.... I think Shaq and James Posey(or watever way you say it) should be traded to 76ers gor Iverson... That also might be a great deal.... Miami Heats finally might get back on track with that trade....

The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics have emerged as the leaders to trade for disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers star Allen Iverson, league executives told Yahoo! Sports on Friday night.

According to sources, 76ers general manager Billy King has targeted Mavericks guard Devin Harris – a favorite of the executive's going back to Harris' college days at Wisconsin – as a primary piece to a potential package with Dallas.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban wouldn't deny that he's engaged in trying to make a deal for Iverson but wrote in an email to Yahoo! Sports on Friday night, "We wouldn't trade Devin."

King has been telling teams that he wants a combination of expiring contracts, young players and draft picks for Iverson. Sixers owner, Ed Snider, flatly said Friday night: "We'll trade him."

Several teams in the past few days have expressed interest in the 2001 NBA MVP and four-time league scoring champion, including the Denver Nuggets – who like Boston – discussed those trade possibilities with the 76ers before last June's NBA draft.

The Celtics have a deep roster of young players, including forward Al Jefferson and guards Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair and Rajon Rondo, to send to Philadelphia. Also, they have the weighty veteran contract of Theo Ratliff to help balance Iverson's contract in a deal.

The Minnesota Timberwolves, with a possible package of Ricky Davis and rookie guard Randy Foye out of Villanova, is also believed to be a factor.

What had long been a tumultuous relationship between Iverson and the 76ers reached a breaking point this week.

As the New York Post initially reported on Friday, Iverson asked King for a trade on Tuesday and the G.M. soon thereafter started exploring possible deals around the league. After missing practice on Thursday and a shootaround on Friday with apparent back spasms, Iverson said he was well enough to play in Philadelphia's game against Washington on Friday night.

However, Iverson said 76ers coach Maurice Cheeks told him to stay away from the Wachovia Center and informed Iverson that he wouldn't be traveling to Orlando for a Saturday meeting with the Magic.

After getting banished for two games, Iverson issued a statement through his agent Leon Rose that sounded like he was resigned to the inevitability of a trade. More and more, it sounds like his 11-year career in Philadelphia is coming to a close.

"As hard as it is to admit, a change may be the best thing for everyone," Iverson said. "I hate admitting that because I love the guys on the team and the city of Philadelphia. I truly wanted to retire a 76er."

i does not imagine Miami ought to signal him. all of them waiting were given D-Wade, Arroyo (jogs my memory of youthful AI) including his ball coping with potential, Dequan prepare dinner whose a decrease back up SG, and Quinn. Why upload yet another SG who will take a lot of photos then? i imagine AI will bypass to Europe for some thing of this season and then decrease back to NBA next season.
