It depends on your definition of "idiot". If you want to link it to tested IQ and say that people scoring below 80 are idiots (100 is average), then that's roughly 15% of the world.
But, again, what's an idiot? After all, even people with degrees from Yale and Harvard can make stupid decisions. If only I could think of an example... :)

Well, counting robbers, theifs, murderers, sexual harrasers, child molesters, adult molesters, insane peeps who wanna kill themselves and the world, insane peeps who wanna kill for the heck of it, animal abusers, people abusers, litterers, pregnant teenagers, teenagers who had babies already, liers, state govt, president(sometimes), Asama Bin Laden, Saddamn Hussain, poachers, drug sellers, drug makers, illegal drug sellers, any1 who does somethang illegal, bombers, bullies, harassers, people who make fun of the mentally challenged, people who hate gay people, people who make fun of just anyone, verbal abusers, rape-ers, and a bunch of other crap like that. So with that said, basically almost all of the world are idiots. About 80 85% maybe. Just think of how many people are those things, compared to people who arn't. Come on, we hear of things like that almost everyday. Those things happen all the time. I bet thousands of those things happen everyday in the world. And sadly, it will never stop and nobody can do anythang about it. For the rest of forever.
