I hope never that is just a waste of tax payers money that because of Bush's war we don't have a surplus of anymore!

John, I think I disagree with you in that point of view, I don't believe for a second any human soul has ever set foot on the moon, thirty some years ago without the today's technology and practically in a cocacola can, some people traveled almost half million miles, crossing the earth radiation belt which from 1000 kilometers out to 40,000 evolves the earth, the protection for a human to survive that radiation had to be a huge cage of lead, now almost 40 years later with the most sophisticated technology we can't lift a shuttle just 220 miles out, if to do it takes months, years and you well know what happened to Challenger and Columbia, good question John..âº

They say they're "going back" to the moon, but they never really been there. Their going there to explore for the first time. They said that they went there when they did so the world wont think that the Chinese or the Germans are better than us. The truth is that the government is trying to make a shelter over at the moon so bush has somewhere to go to when he blows up the world.

Funny, wasn't NASA asked to turn over the original moon landing tapes to be digitally remastered just a few months ago? what ever happened to that? Last I heard, they were claiming they had lost the film somewhere in their storage lots....

I don't know why, but I know that the money could be invested better. We should not be in space at all while there children in America that do not have enough food. While we have our elderly, who should be able to rely on social security, going to bed hungry because they had to choose whether to buy their medicine or food. There should not be one shuttle launched until New Orleans is rebuilt. I can go on and on. I love my country and know that is the greatest place to live, but it could be better. As a people, it is time to speak up. We have the right to purge the government and we should. We need to make our government remember that they are of the people for the people.

Because of the vast amount of potenial it may contain. they may have found water on the moon in the northern and southern tips. plus to see is there any future possiblity of actually living on the moon. oersonally they should invest in studying mars a little more as the found water under the surface recently.
