I have a Sony 3 disc cd changer and it says it's mp3 compatible. What is mp3 compatible and how do I use it?

It means that your cd changer can read the .mp3 format. Some cannot read mp3, but they can read wma, wav,. yours can read all of them. All you have to do to make a mp3 cd is get some music, rip it to your computer (i use audio grabber {make shure you have the mp3 check box clicked}) then burn a mp3 cd. then put it in your disc changer, then be happy ^_^

Badstuden is right. It plays mp3 cds. you can fit buttloads more data on an mp3 cd. I wish I had one in my car.

Burn mp3's on to a computer CD and they will play in your cd player.

it means that you can put mp3's on a cd and it will play them... very handy.. you can fit many more on the cd than your standard burned cd
