Um...No. There are lots of great players that are not good looking and there are lots of good looking players that are not that great.

Hell no!! I'm not telling you that I dont love to watch the cute ones, but in matter of the sport it has nothing to do with looks. I love Zidane too, and even Ronaldinho, Ronaldo (these two cant be more ugly, but they are great.
Beckham, for example, is a good player (and hot) but I cant still forget the **** he did in the 2004 Eurocup, and in the World cup, he did a good job but he wasnt great.

No.In football its skills that matter not looks.But its a pity that some ppl judge football player on the basis of looks alone.U can see many examples in this forum itself.

Football is not about looks..it is about skills, talents ,abilities some players might be popular for being great strikers and top scorers like Pele..who scored 1281 goals in 1363 matches..Others might be known for greatest defense ever like Fabio Cannavaro..Others may be known for being Legends..Like Zizou..who became the legend by being the main reason France won there only cup in 1988 and being the only player to score against the top country BRAZIl 2 goals in one match..he almost scored a hattrick during the final
I Agree ofcourse that for us girls..we might be attracted to some players by there looks first then we find out that they are either Good players with great skills abilities...Big example..Me and Cannavaro..since i didnt really concentrate on watching the games of Italy in the world cup..i didnt notice Cannavaro until the final game..and semi-final..His looks attracted me and then i was amazed and i loved his great Defensive styles..and he is truely the best defender in the world..since the semi-final match..FABIO CANNAVARO became my top player and will remain my top player because eventhough he is a defender and defenders doesnt attract much attention...Cannavaro was able to attract all of people attention in Europe and everywhere else.I hope he gets the best player of the year
Anyways on the other hand sometimes you could be attracted to some one who is good looking but at the end you find him completely useless and is no way a good footballer ..Good it never happened to me

No!!! They might try to look good, but they're only great when they're good at the game. Is Ronaldinho(soccer player) good at soccer just because he looks good(I dont believe he looks good)??? NO! Same with Allen Iverson(although my sister thinks he's hot)!

Yeah, for example my freind is one of the worst students in our class but because of his charming face everybody likes him.
What I meant was a player with both the looks and skill can be 10,000,000 times greater than Zizou.
