I'm betting that one of the little screens on the fill hoses is clogged. There is sometimes a filter on the ends of the hose (in the hose) as well as one in the washing machine where the hose hooks up.

It is also possible that your fill valve isn't opening all the way, but generally speaking, those things freeze at either "on" or "off", not halfway in between.

I'm guessing you mean your Maytag clothes washer. We have a Maytag washer too and we also have a high mineral content in our water. Periodically, I have to unscrew the water feeder hoses and clean the mesh filters that are in both ends of the hoses. Ours get clogged with small particles of Manganese (there's a lot of that in our water) and it seems to clog the hot more than the cold water. You may have a similar problem.

yes. turn off the water to the machine; disconnect the hoses at the back of the machine and there will be a screen on both the hot and cold connections right there

there should be filters at the mouth of your intake water hoses where they connect to your machine. Also test the pressure at the site of your water valves that are in your utility room.
