What you do is copy the itunes directory to your external drive

it should look something like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music

If you move the drive to another computer then you will need to authorize it, you can authorize up to 5 computers.

Hi. Your external drive will have a letter assigned to it by the PC. You should create a folder on the ext drive called "Music" or whatever you like and then just copy and paste from the int drive to the ext.

You need to burn all of your Itunes stuff to cd then delete them from your hard drive. Then plug in your external hard drive, and rip the tunes from the cd to that external hard drive.
