for the next semester. meaning what can make living with that person so unbearable?

it could be because they're mean, nosey, dirty, smelly, overly fragranced, loud, they have a boyfriend/girlfriend over too much, they stay up too late, wake up too early, listen to music you don't like, they have a friend they like better than you that they want to room with, they're not used to having a roommate and prefer living alone, you use thier stuff without asking, they want to be in a dorm closer to class or some other particular service. that's all the reasons i would, and i bet others might move or transfer to another room. some of the stuff that says you can be changed to the nieghbors. i hope these are these answers are helpful. bye!

It could be all sorts of things. Perhaps the person has some annoying habits that they don't realize they have. Maybe the roommate that is transferring to another room wants to live on his or her own or has found a roommate that shares the same major. Or it could be an unresolvable personality conflict. Don't sweat it. It happens.

Instead of trying to oust your roommate why don't you move? It would be unhealthy and a waste of your energy living your life being cruel to another human being. Take the high rode and if you are that miserable transfer out. Don't spend your resources on something that is to say the least very petty.

You should mention to your roommate your proclivities. My bf is a total nudist at home and people just have to deal with it. If we're having a dinner party or something, he'd be dressed but just sitting around? Yeah, naked. The people we know could care less and usually strip down in the house too.
