The US dollar to Grivnya fluctuates everyday except saturday and Sunday. Officially it's 1usd = 5.05 grivnya. In Kiev near airports and train station it can be 1usd = 4.50 grivnya. But away from them you can get 1usd = 5.15 grivnya.

Dont EVER EVER call a Ukranian a Russian. Very undesirable thought. the only different factor i will inform you is the rustic, for despite reason, is oftentimes talked approximately because of fact the Ukraine. Dont know why.

Check at different exchange booths called obmin billet in Kiev on Kreschatyk or whichever city you are in,you get different rates fot the $US.
