I am probably in the minority (and will probably get criticized and shot down for this question) but I severely dislike Christmas carols. It may be because I work in the retail sector and they play them to death. Every possible singer/group singing their version of the seasonal favourites. I particularly dislike "I'll be home for Christmas". No wonder there are so many suicides at this time of the year....

I get annoyed at Christmas Carols too. At my work there is always Christmas music playing in the bathroom, I find it especially annoying when I'm at work and in a bad mood to hear those songs, and it seems like I just hear the same song over and over, I wouldn't mind so much if they at least switched up the artist singing the song! Only time I like Christmas music is when I'm actually in the christmas spirit, but thats usually only on christmas eve. Luckily I have friends and family to spend the holiday with, but I think I would find Christmas carols depressing if I didn't have anyone to share the holidays with.

I understand why you dislike Christmas carols. I love them, but I dislike the fact that retailers start decorating for the holidays even before Hallowe'en. Listening to Christmas carols incessantly for nearly two months would sour them for anyone! I also dislike the inappropriate arrangements you sometimes hear, like 'Silent Night' played very loudly with an incessant drum-beat, and the 'Twelve Days of Christmas' rendition I heard recently that was so slow, it sounded like a dirge!

My brother doesn't like them! I like Christmas Carols, but i do not like Christmas Caroling! It's always freezing! I know what you mena about a binch of diffrent versions of Christmas songs! I have heard White Christmas sung by about 200 diffrent people!!
