Though Mozart was Buried in a Pauper's Grave in Vienna, no one is Exactly sure where it is. And Mozart's wife constanze had very little money at the time so it was the only funeral she could afford. And it was actually quite a nice day for his funeral. And there was actually a state funeral for him and over 600,000 people were in attendance. All the mourners did not go to his gravesite because they would have caught diseases. Sorry to point these little points out but it has to be known! Hope it has been helpful.

Am not one hundred percent sure about this, but believe that Mozart was buried in a pauper's grave somewhere in Vienna. Probably an unmarked mass grave for the poor.
There are probably plenty of memorials to Mozart in Vienna but not an actual burial plot, as far as I know.

Although there is a monument to W.A. Mozart in Vienna's Central Cemetary (actually outside of town in a suburb), he was buried in Vienna's St. Marx cemetary in a communal grave, which was very common for middle class people of the time. After his death, the plot was dug up to make room for more bodies (another common practice of the time), during which the exact location of his grave was lost.

Because he was buried in an unmarked grave, it has been popularly assumed that Mozart was penniless and forgotten when he died. In fact, though he was no longer as fashionable in Vienna as before, he continued to have a well paid job at court and receive substantial commissions from more distant parts of Europe, Prague in particular[citation needed]. He earned about 10,000 florins per year[6], equivalent to at least 42,000 US dollars in 2006, which places him within the top 5% of late 18th century wage earners[6], but he could not manage his wealth. His mother wrote, "When Wolfgang makes new acquaintances, he immediately wants to give his life and property to them." His impulsive largesse and spending often had him asking for loans. Many of his begging letters survive, but they are evidence not so much of poverty as of his habit of spending more than he earned. He was not buried in a "mass grave" but in a regular communal grave according to the 1784 laws in Austria.
Though the original grave in the St. Marx cemetery was lost, memorial gravestones (or cenotaphs) have been placed there and in the Zentralfriedhof

I think it's Vienna, because he died penniless whilst working on Requiem Aeternam & Hostias in Vienna and was buried in a paupers grave ( poor boy). He may have been taken back to Salzburg but I don't think so.

You may read ,even in the most erudite works, that he was buried in a paupers grave and that is why there is no precise location for it. This is wrong - MK sets out the true position.
