I htought when I was 15, but we broke up 2 years later and I dated another girl and I thought we were in love but it was a different better kind of love than the first time, and then we broke up a year later and i realized that i truly hadn't been in love in either of those relationships.

Fell in love for real the first time when I was 21.
Fell in love for good (to the man I'm married to) at 27.
You don't really fall in love very often. And, studies have shown that for the first 12 months (approximately) "love" is just a chemical reaction that wears off. To be "in love" takes a lot more than that 12 month infatuation.
Eleven years old? I'm sure you think you're in love, but, sweetie, just don't do anything stupid.

I fell in love when I was 16 and my boyfriend was 18. Before that I thought I was in love a million times but nothing was like the feeling I got when it really did happen. I was positive with my boyfriend at 16 but before that I was totally questioning everything. You will know when it is the right one. It just feels different. Good luck

14, but of course it did not last forever thank goodness. You will not know real lasting love until you are older, however being in love can happen at any age. Good luck, learn from it, and don't get too wrapped up emotionally because that can hinder yourself in many aspects. Plus cherish the memories and don't become sexually active, no matter how great you feel towards him. You will thank yourself in the long run for that--believe me. Others will tell you the same thing. You will be respected more and you will also respect yourself much more by not giving into that.

well at 15 i thought i was in love but i realised it was a puppy love. Im now 17 and found the love of my life. I think 11/12 is kind of the puppy love stage really

You are a bit young. I was 16 when I fell in love with my husband, it's been 5 years now, and we are married and have two kids. This is an exception to the rule, most people are a bit older before they meet the person they will stay with the rest of their lives.

I think you are too young to have a boyfriend but love does not know any age. I thought i was in love many times but I was wrong. I am now 37 and know that I truly love someone.
