is it the same feeling as going into labor on time? im only 21 weeks but i have a low lying placenta and ive been getting dull pains in my inner and upper thighs, no blood or anything like that and i have the normal ligament pain as well but this is my second and like i said im at a small risk as of right now because of the placenta and i just want to be careful and watch for signs. However if its the same (regular contractions) no matter when you go into labor than ill feel better cause i dont have any real contractions. Again just wondering if its possible that u can have 2 completely different labors if its premature?

No. I had Incometent Cervix and lost a baby girl in Aug at 21 weeks. I only had what felt like bloating, but I had started spotting and by the time my husband got me to the hospital I was already dilated to 4. I asked the nurse and she said that at that stage of pregnancy labor would not be as intense. Contact your doctor. If you are in labor you might have to be on bed rest. Good luck to you. My son was also a preemie (Born at 29 weeks) and my labor with him was VERY intense.

Every girl is specific and no longer all ladies can have that unexpected powerful urge to wash the drain traps with a toothbrush lol. So that is best. The mucous plug is one other factor that may commonly move ignored by way of first time mothers in particular, however customarily you're going to detect that if it comes out. Sometimes despite the fact that, it does not pop out till you're in genuine energetic exertions... If that is your first you'll be able to move over by way of every week or extra - I recognize you dont' wish to listen to that being past due already ;) however very natural to think "as is" the entire manner up till the day of the occasion, commonly even simply hours or moments earlier than.

I have had one regular birth and 2 that were premature. Girl, Labor is Labor, your body goes through all the same stages. Just because your having a smaller size baby, don't mean there wont be pain either. I would suggest being carefully monitored when you feel these pains dont go to far from any hospital.

It can be but it depends on why your going into labor.

regular preterm labor would be similar to actually labor.

With me I lost my son at 21w3d due to incompetent cervix. Once he got to a certain weight my cervix couldn't stay closed cause he was to heavy (1lb 1 oz) I went to the hospital cause of bleeding and was found to be 3 cm dilated. I felt nothing. And it was to late to stop anything. He lived for 3 hours.

If you think anything feels odd GO to the Dr. They get paid for that!
