The Rangers are supposed to pay around $67 Million of his salaries since the trade to NYY, but how much excatly do the Yankees pay year by year.

He's due $27m in each of the next 4 years. Of that total, the Rangers will pay $7m next year, $8m in 2008, $7m in 2009, and $6m in 2010. The Rangers have already paid $15 million of his contract since the deal, and they're responsible for some of the deferred money down the road.

So, Alex is due $108m over the next four years. The Rangers will pay $28m of that, leaving the Yankees on the hook for $80m.
