I have a Porshe Carrera GT, should I get a V8 or a V12 Engine

You should get V12. They're really powerful. I have a V8 and it can bring my car up our really steep driveway covered in ice! I can't even imagine how powerful a V12 is!! I hope that this helps!! :)

Well, since you have a Carrera, you probably aren't worried about gas mileage, so get the V-12 if you can afford it. But just make sure the transmission & rear end can handle the torque - if you floor it at a stop sign you might drop the tranny, snap a driveshaft or melt the rear tires off the rims. A V-8 would probably be more than adequate, and would save you some money. And parts for V-8's are more readily available, too.

The Carerra GT has a V-10. Only.

I was not aware that porsche offere those options,but me personally would go V-8..Just purchased a Z06 and let me tell you it outperforms many italian and german makes and for the money you can't beat the horsepower or the excitement.......Besides V-12's have to many components that can break.............

i would get a v12 simply because of the power

v12 seems like overkill - but if money is no object go for it!
