"can't find page" is a server 404 error. Is this what you are getting? If so, then then the problem is at the server end, as the server was trying to get a page (file) which does not exist. If on the other hand, the error is "can't resolve host" then it is likely your DSL router has dropped the DNS information. Your DSL modem is actually a dedicated computer with 2 functions, one to physically make the electronic connection (the modem part) and the other to make the logical connection, which is what works to connect your LAN to the Internet. Part of this is the building of a table for routing the packets of data which is how everything talks to one another. Loss of this routing information means you can't talk to anyone and results in a resolution error when the DSL can't talk to the DNS machine where a URL is resolved to an actual IP address. The thing is, simply disconnecting the phone line or the ethernet cable and then reconnecting does not cause this error, but a momentary power loss which makes the dedicated computer "forget" it's routing information. Push the reset button if there is one, of if not a reset button, pull the plug and plug it in again after a bit. The DSL router needs to "start over" to reestablish the connection.

Go to start and click on run. From here type in "cmd" and click on ok. Now put "ipconfig" and push enter. If your IP address starts with 169 thats why its not working anymore. Also, if there is nothing or it just shows zeros just turn off your modem for a few seconds then turn it back on. Repeat the process and see if your IP address is there and not 169. ect

I have that problem with my cable connection sometimes. I end up unplugging the power cord for my router and cable modem for about a minute. As the computer is restarted, I plug them back in, that usually clears it. Best of luck.
