people who are well known seem to be able to get away with more than the rest of us because we buy into thier world and support them, in this case by buying her products.
In the case of oj, found guilty of murder in the civil case when the jury had a chance to see and hear him, people still treat him like a celebrity rather than a double killer,

What is your problem? Martha Stewart did the same thing corporate male execs do all the time - insider trading - they just don't always get caught. At least she didn't do what the execs at Enron did - rob their employees and embezzle company dollars while living the rich life! Martha worked and invested, like most smart people do. I still like her and her products. If you don't, don't invest in her products! But think about the products you buy and see if you're condoning some criminal!

Buying her products doesn't mean that you condone her actions. It means that she has very good taste and has managed to make deals with various stores/retailers to sell her stuff.

Did she do wrong? Apparently (I'm not entirely familiar with all the details of the case, but who hasn't heard about it). But doesn't she also have very good taste? Apparently.

If you don't like it, don't buy her products - there's plenty of other stuff out there that's just as good, if not better!

There not condoning her, they just think she can cook; not like she actually comes up with these recipes or remembers them herself, but she can save ur thanksgiving or x-mas dinner. Especially good if in-laws r coming over, and i guess people think that it's worth giving her her 10 seconds of fame back.

She served her time didn't she?
Her enteprise is not like church where you
are throwing your donation into the plate.
She provides products. People buy for quality
not to make her rich.

Guilty of greed. How many of us have not been? I like Martha. Because of her perfection, and her drive. Gotta respect that.
