i try it at macdonald,but failed to connect,why???

what are your ports set to are they open and what kind of card do you have some networks dont support other types

Macdonalds may not have wireless networking and if they do it may be a secure wireless site. not all wireless sites are accessible..
some hotels and motels are now becoming secure wireless sites, i know several hotels I have stayed at have given me a password to access their wireless internet system

you need to have wirelesscard first.
you need Wireless Router.
then you computer wll detect wireless connection doble click in
press connect.
make sure you put security to your wireless..
