One should never say never. But Pele is unique for many reasons, as are other legends of the game. I cannot help but wonder though, what heights Just Fontaine could have reached has he not has his career ended at just 27 after a severe second leg break. He too was something else.

Leo Messi is on his way..it is obvious that he is gonna be the future Maradona from the few matches he played with Argentina and Barca..Maybe he wont be as good as Pele..but he will be very close to his talents and abilities

wait for Messi to shine in the following years and you will get what i mean

surprising question from a chelsea fan! and yes there will be and there already has been as good as pele and even better! Ronaldo(brazil) is better than pele, van basten is better than pele....and many others...

yes some1 will beat all of his skills like every sport every1s records get beat because EVERY sport evolves if they didn't then records wouldn't change... but i'm not saying he's not good.
