They serve fries cooked in pure lard and a burger called the tripple bypass that consists of 3 half pound beef patties and they also have a hooters theme with waitreses dressed in skimpy old fasioned nurses uniforms.

The contraversy is, if someone starts having chest pain out of sheer panic the customer might mistake the waitress as an actual medical profesional. Do you see the novilty in this or do you think this is an emergency rooms worst nightmare?

I saw a thing on TV about it and actually thought it was pretty cool. There were a bunch of RN's that were speaking out against the restaurant because it gave real nurses a bad name as if they were all sluts or something. It was a long time ago so I don't quite remember what all the fuss was about. I think anyone with a brain would know that the waitresses aren't really nurses. I thought the names of the burgers were great. It's just a gimmick to get customers which you can't blame the person who opened the burger joint in the first place. People are gonna eat fatty take out food anyway so if he can make an extra buck out of it because of the gimmick I say go for it. The people that complain about the place are just providing free advertising for the restaurant otherwise I would have never heard of it as I live in Indiana.

When I first heard of this restaurant...I thought that it was a very clever idea! The owner should be a very rich man! I, however, consider myself a very healthy eater and I watch my intake very closely. I would have a very hard time eating there just because of the way things are prepared. Just watch "super size me" and you'll think twice before going out to eat!

i have! i can say, as a former hooters girl, that i think it's an awesome idea. way to be creative!

however, i think the costumes could be better. they look rather dumb. they should all get the white "sexy nurse" costumes instead.

just my thoughts!

I have a friend who lives near there. She will not let her husband go there since he already had one heart attack.
