Better than the Bush family whose bidding he did (like the S/L crimes that are still costing us into the trillions). Worse than every other except perhaps Harding. Got lots of good Hollywood type PR. A paper president who would have claimed credit for the sunrise if he'd thought he could get away with it.
He no more ended the cold war than he made the grass grow. The Soviet Union collapsed from within.

Reagan was the best leader America ever had! Really! A powerful man who stood up to the East Bloc! But nowadays I don't see many more like him coming into power. If they did, the world's problems would be in the process of getting fixed. Not to mention he battled communism!!! Brilliant man!

other than funding most of the world's problems that we face today, just because they were against the soviets years ago, and giving terrorists, or "freedom fighters" as he called them, weapons that are now being used on our troops, yeah he did a helluva job!
its really too bad that Bush reversed almost all of the good Reagan did for the US and the world!

Without a doubt, the greatest President, and those who will disagree are forgetting that we are still here. His strength and leadership stopped the Soviets from destroying the world. After you save the world, what else can be compared.
And I'm sure the idiots who will use Nazi, and demagogue, and all other liberal propaganda against him, well, they probably weren't even alive when he was President, and have no clue anyway.

There is no doubt he was a strong president, and did some good. He also cut spending on mental health, releasing thousands of mentally ill people from long term care into the streets. Homelessness soared, and trickle down economics didn't trickle down very far.

He was suffering from early onset Alzheimer's. His staff did a good job of covering that up. But at the same time GHW Bush Gates and North were running CIA Black Opps out of the White house.

No, Regan didn't really do much other that coerce people by threatening with the military. As we found out on 911, most of it was a bunch of hot air.
