when you say "all terrorists are muslim" those prone to sensitive responses actually hear "all muslims are terrorists" - what you're saying is fact and not discriminatory. These days people find it easier to take offence than discuss or accept an alternate point of view.

It's not discriminatory to say that some Muslims are terrorists. It's the fact that people single out this group of people as the only people who can possibly carry out such acts. In my opinion, Bush and Blair are terrorists too. And last time I checked, they aren't Muslim. Furthermore, the associating of Islam (the religion) with the act of terrorism is in my opinion very unfair, as Islam 100% denounces this awful act. But people seem to link any form of terrorism with Islam specifically. The religion itself should not be attacked. Rather, the minority of followers, who are following the teachings extrememly incorrectly.

Subjects such as this are very touchy because the people of such cultures that are not terrorists take offense, even if none is meant in particular at them. Especially for foreigners that come to live in the US. In their minds, referring to Muslims is like referring to all Muslims, even though the subject may only be about a group within the Muslim community.

It is never bad to say the truth.
So to be discriminatory because of the truth is never bad
But PC activists acted so the word discriminating become a bad action, when the real bad action is discriminating without a good reason.
A philosopher said that: "It is an injustice to regard equals as unequals and unequals as equals"

It is true that most of the terror we have seen in the past decades have been proudly announced by a Muslim faction, but just as there are many murderers and liers and bad people in all races so too in the Muslim faith.
Many profess to be Christians and think nothing of abusing children, elderly and so on, nurses care givers, policemen, clergymen, you find evil in all walks of life, as you find good in all walks of life, the trick is not to paint everyone with the same brush and really believe in benefit of doubt.
Not everything is at it seems ever. Pray for peace.

Its not racist- if its a proven fact, then you're only stating facts. But the fact remains that people of the race being mentioned- no matter what the race is- are probably going to be offended, whether the facts are true or not. Its just the way humans are :/

Its not discriminating ..... its just that most people take a wide view when we discuss such subjects ?, if you say .."muslim terrorists" ... then non muslims identify with the word MUSLIM..... as do the muslims themselves ...... and subsequently take offence ...... it works both ways ....... think about it ? ? ?
