You didn't say what kind of gift. Personal or general. For general the best gift I found is a set of Santoku knives (four knives and the wooden block that holds them) my wife was going to get me a set (they're rather expensive), but I found a set at Sam's Club for $19.99-good knives and awesome price.
I think you're better off trying to get something that would appeal to the person rather than it just "looking" expensive. It's very unlikely they will be fooled that it's really expensive when it's not.

A nice gift basket. Gift baskets have a lot of things inside them, and they look fancy. The prices can range from $5 to $30 +.

you could make a movie nite gift basket like with 2 free movie rentals popcorn coke and candy and a nice throw blanket to watch the movie.or jewlry gift cards funnie t-shirts always make people laf.stationary blankets,jacket,ect.personalized.

properly, the disney tickets are superb, yet that is in simple terms to get you in the gate. as quickly as your interior it gets high priced, you gotta eat and stuff. Can the persons your giving them to handle to pay for the "extras"? Plus, they could GET there! Do they stay in yet another state the place they could purchase airfare or are they only around the corner? in the event that they stay that close, they have probable already been there and that isn't any vast deal.
