Unfortunately, Scyther is one of those Pokemon not available in LeafGreen but it is available in FireRed. To be specific, you can only find Scyther in FireRed and Pokemon XD for the Gamecube. You can get one if you use a cheat (such as a Gameshark) but those devices can be risky sometimes and might damage your game.

Besides recommending that you find a friend with FireRed or XD, I don't think there is much else you can do to get Scyther. You could get Diamond or Pearl for the DS next Spring, then use the WiFi connection and trade with anyone who also has D/P and may be able to get a Scyther that way.

If you have any questions, try serebii.net or email me. Good luck!

Okay, all of it relies on what you are looking to do. What I quite often do is capture an Abra to get Kadabra/Alakazam, if no longer, a Ghastly for Haunter/Gengar. When you get Eevee, the nice option to adapt it's both Jolteon or Vaporeon, relying at the starter you selected. Well, right here three lists that I used. a million. Charizard two. Vaporeon three. Aerodactyl four. Dragonite five. Alakazam 6. Magneton ----------------------------- a million. Venusaur two. Jolteon three. Magmar four. Gengar five. Aerodactyl 6. Gyarados ----------------------------- a million. Blastoise two. Jolteon three. Magmar four. Dragonite five. Alakazam 6. Aerodactyl They labored very good. If you wish, you'll be able to use some thing equivalent, it's going to get you a long way.
