Rather use Firefox and don't bother using Internet Explorer. Your anti-virus protection shouldn't have anything to do with this. It sounds a bit fishy, Internet Explorer never requires your Anti-virus to be disabled to get it installed on your PC.

Right Click ( with the right Button of your Mouse) on the Anti-virus Icon on the Task-bar ( at the bottom portion of your Windows Screen).

From the Menu that you see, select " Disable ". This will disable Anti-virus Software on your computer.

Download Explorer 7.

Once you have downloaded and installed Explorer 7 completely, right click on the Anti-virus Icon on the Task-bar again. When the menu opens up, simply click on ' Enable ' to enable the Anti-virus.

Good Luck.

If the virus program keeps you from downloading IE7, that's the most useful thing it will ever do. That piece of doodoo has wrecked more programs than supervisors who think they know how to use a computer.

I have a couple of freinds that have downloaded expl.7 and the've had nothing but problems with it, one of them had their computer comletely crash as soon as they downloaded the program, and she is still without her computer. I hear that the program is still to new and they haven't worked all of the bug's out of it yet . Your better off staying with Expl. 6 for awhile.
