What rubbish from the Marseille fan. Without Zidane, there will no WC 98 for France, no Euro 2000 and definitely no Final this year. And the man scored the best ever CL Final goal in Glasgow in 2002.
Even if Leverkusen had 2 goalkeepers on step-ladders, they wouldn't keep that ball out.
He is up there with Puskas, Beckenbauer and Cruyff, just below Maradona and Pele.

I respect the Maestro all the way,he is definitely a legend,no doubt about that! ^_^
Zidane is never overrated.If he is overrated,why would he receive a lot of awards in his whole career? Zidane is irreplaceable.

I respect Zidane whole-heartedly and I don't need to think if he's a legend or not as he IS a legend and he is in the top 5 football players right? That's the proof! ^_^

I respect him completely. He is a great player and whoever does not see his skillz on the pitch is obviously blind or something. Zidane IS a legend and the people who've been watching football before this WC and even during this WC would know how much talent he possess...I sure miss it!!

Have utmost respect for him as a player and human being. If we are going to be blinded by his actions in a match then others such as Figo ( headbutt) De Rossi (vicious elbow to McBride) must also be seen in the same light. Nothing will change the level of skill he possesses and showed the world and that is what will keep him up there with the likes of Pele and Maradona. What he has been able to drive France to achieve is extraordinary.

I don't think he's overrated as a soccer player , he's overrated by his fans by calling him "Zidane the God" to me there is only one God !!!!!
Plus I lost respect for him after what he did in the World Cup!!
