Remove Iraq from the map???? What an imbecile! This is the area of the Fertile Crescent, the birthplace of so much history that involves all of us even if the white, ethnocentric policies of this administration would ask us to reject anything it does not approve. We must become more appreciative of other cultures and show respect if we want to earn back what has been squandered by the arrogance of in particular this current administration.

I say leave becuase we were never to be there to begin with. This was not at all about someone else's freedom. It started of with WMD's or has everyone forgotten that? THen when that didnt fly they turned to freedom, well do you see any freedom there now???? I only see death for everyone!

During the interview with the BBC world service, Annan agreed when it was suggested that some Iraqis believe life is worse now than it was under Saddam Hussein's regime.
"I think they are right in the sense of the average Iraqi's life," Annan said. "If I were an average Iraqi obviously I would make the same comparison, that they had a dictator who was brutal but they had their streets, they could go out, their kids could go to school and come back home without a mother or father worrying, 'Am I going to see my child again?'
"And the Iraqi government has not been able to bring the violence under control. The society needs security and a secure environment for it to get on — without security not much can be done — not recovery or reconstruction."

the radical muslims are attempting to rid the world of religious freedom....if we let go of our grip on Iraq the radical muslims will get a grip on Iraq and then Europe....the radicals have already gotten Spain trapped in a corner, and i expect that more countries will be like that if we leave...

George bush is an idiot. First, it was about saddam, then it was about W.o.M.D's then its to root out the leftover insurgents. Now what i see on the news is, that this might turn out to be another world war, because eventually it WILL spread to other countries.

I think that it depends o your opinion. I thought that it was a bad idea from the start, but that is just me. You really have to use your own judgement on this one.
