Astrology can help you if you are experiencing compatibility issues in a relationship by first of all examining your birth chart. The chart will show the qualities with which you most easily identify. A chart dominated by planets in air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) for instance may show that you identify with cool mental detachment as a preferred quality. You may form an easy relationship with another with similar chart qualities, but are more likely to be attracted to someone who identifies with more visceral emotional qualities as preferable, and whose birth chart may be dominated by planets in water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). The other set of opposites is fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) and Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn)

Cancer and Leo are compatible. I should know 'cause I'm a Leo. But don't just go by the zodiak. Get to know the person yourself. I do think there's some truth to it 'cause I have been in relationships with people that weren't the greatest zodiak compatible and it didn't work out but then again it might go the other way too. Give the guy a chance and see what happens.
