flying in dreams, assuming you mean flying kinda like superman and not in an aircraft, means 2 things. first its a desire for freedom. Its an escape from the reality of being confined in your life situation. Also, if you find that you are looking down at the ground while you are flying it could mean that you are dealing with some issue that you dont feel you have all the information for and need to get a bird's eye view of things so that you can make a more informed decision. However, if you are looking into the clouds, then you have some goals you want to accomplish, that if you put some effort into them would be accomplished easily. In contrast, if you are looking into the sun, you are headed for danger and dont really know it. that all depends on how you FEEL during the dream though. Flying at night means you are heading into a great unknown. here again, your emotional response to the dream is a tell all. if you are excited then it mean you are expecting good things. a sense of worry or anxiety means you are clueless as far as what to expect. you dont have enough information to know what to think.

It is possible yhat you are one of the few "lucky" adults who has retained a special "sub-conscious" ability that most of us lost when we reached adulthood. Astro-projection is what allows your "spirit" or soul to temporarily detach itself from the body and travel freely and without "restraint". If you feel as though you can control your "in-flight" direction and you awake with the feeling that you've "landed" in your bed, it is quite likely you have experienced that phenomenon. Regardless of the cause - enjoy the effect.
