The people in my school will be walking ahead of you, wave to someone and just stop right there and have a conversation, when the hall is completely full of people trying to get to class! Then there's this girl who will not shut up during class and when she gets yelled at, she still does'nt shut up! Mumbling about how she was'nt talking and it's because she's black and everyone else was talking...people who talk about nothing more than the differences between white people and black people...so many things...I cannot wait to graduate.

Saphire -- kiss my ass. I'm definitley not rich, I could'nt even afford the threads of the seats in the Mercedes. You probably read this and realized you do these things, it's not my fault.

Unfortunately yes. But even after you graduate, you're still gonna find it at work, relationships, being out in public. It's like the movie The Sixth Sense. I see stupid, ignorant people everywhere!

har. oh yes. the ignorant will still be there, and in the same proportions as they are in your school unfortunately.
it's partly cultural i think. the whole stopping right in the middle of the hall thing seems to me a very north american trait belying the self centred 'nobody matters but me' attitude that pervades so much of the thinking (or lack thereof) in this part of the hemisphere.
does it amaze me? naw. does it make me want to buy 25 acres in the country and surround it with raspberry bushes and get some really really big dogs? yes.

I have some very very very bad news for you. Those same people are out in the real world too. The ones who stop in the hall? They're at the grocrey store, blocking both ends of the aisle you're in. Or parked in the middle of the street, blocking both lanes, talking to their friends. Miss Talksalot? She's on your phone trying to sell magazines or knocking on your door and getting mad if you don't have time for it. The racists are all over too. If you're really lucky, you'll find yourself a small group of friends who aren't quite so stupid, and you'll be able to stick mostly to them, but those other idiots are all over! Believe it. And no, they don't amaze me at all! I'm mostly surprised that I managed to avoid them occasionally!

I graduated 11 years ago and nothing seemed to change. I had the same complaints lol. You sound just like I did in my Senior year book when they ask for quotes lol. I complained about the idiots in the hallways too lol. Ahh those were the days! I actually miss it now :(

Tell me about it, here i was in a line trying to get some lunch and this woman is holding up the people to complain how the lasagne she just got was smelling sour and her daughter's own did not have that smell but it was cut from the same pan, its there for her to see, then the daughter comes complaining that the chicken is cold, then proceeded to ask them if it was in the fridge. WTF? I am a regular at that place, they don't put anything in the fridge, there food always finishes first at that food court. THOSE PPL JUST PISSED ME OFF!

You'll run into people like that all your life. They'll stop in the middle of the grocery aisle and either leave their basket in the middle or take up almost the whole aisle and talk to someone.

I agree but what amazes me even more is how they blame it on other people, oh that person was racist or sexist or some kind of bull. They can't seem to see that maybe they are the problem.
