I think this happen when you are removing USB device and still some programs are accessing the device or system is slower to sens the ending of a program who had bean accessing the USB, so advice is close all program accessing that USB like mp3 or file explorer ... etc then if same thin happen i advice to clean or check for viruses maybe!!

That usually means that you still have a program open that is reading a document from your USB device. For instance, Microsoft Word is open, and the document that is open within word is stored on your USB device.
If you can't get it to stop, close all programs, make sure there is no way any program could be reading or writing to your USB device, and unplug the thing anyway.

Make sure that u close all programs relating to the USB drive...
sometimes it mite also make u to close all the programs (not relating to the USB).

The OS might be doing file maintenance on the drive. It can last for several minutes before it's done.

find out what program is accessing it and terminate it my advice use it for storage and install whatever to your c drive
