Well I am young, and my friend is having a "Sweet 13" and It's my first dance party thingy EVER and I don't have a boy friend so i dont know if i should just dance with my friends, wait for a guy to ask me or... what? What did you guys do on your first huge teen party? Any answers for me?

you can wait for a guy to come dance with you, but if u have the confidence why not ask a guy to dance with u or just go up and start dancing with him. it doesnt even have to be a guy you like. i used to be really shy at parties and dances but now ive realized that if i just go up and grab a guy he will dance. you dont even have to know him. good luck and remember just have fun!

Try to get a guy to ask you, or vice versa. It will be the higlight of your teen years knowing that you had a date to your very first dance, not that it was a horrible night because I didnt have one!
