Since my team is the Twolves yes I want him on my team. We would have 2 Superstars w/ him and KG hungry as can be for a championship.

I'd love to have him on my team.

I know he can be a little ornery, and he blows off practice once in a while, but he's also the fiercest competitor I've seen in the past decade. He gives 100% every night, plays through injuries, and cares about winning above all else. I know he gets tagged as a ball hog, but so do most great scorers, so it goes with the territory.

What I'll always remember about Iverson is his performance at the 2004 Olympics. When the Americans were getting their butts handed to them, he was one of the few players who continued to play hard and not just give up. And when they lost, he was very gracious about it. Even my wife, who's not a basketball fan, noted Iverson's toughness and determination in that tournament.

I'd take him in a second.

He's an aging point guard with serious personality issues that could disrupt a team's cohesiveness. Him alone won't make a mediocre team an automatic contender, sending him to an average team won't either. He'd pretty much hang on the coat tails of an elite team similiar to what Payton and Malone did for the Lakers. And where did that get the Lakers? I hope Mark Cuban is not serious about getting him. Dallas is just fine the way they are. Minnesota with Garnett might be a better fit.

A personality and talent like AI, one builds a team around him.

I don't think he's a ball hog, he's averaged 6 assists per game in his career.

The problem with trading AI to any team is that he is The Man, so the chemistry would be a mess. I doubt even at his age (32?) that he'll ever settle back and become a role player.

Im on the fence..first off I'm a Cavs fan..so the prospect of us getting Iverson is low..with Damon Jones, Eric Snow (meh) and Larry Hughes. I know he can be a ball hog and Lebron does need his touches to be effective..but hes a prolific player. On the other hand, Iverson is the type of guy that needs to be The Guy and he couldnt be The Guy in Cleveland because that is Lebron. But the idea of AI, Larry, and Lebron is one that I like...assuming AI can play Cavs ball and distribute it around and only turn it up when he has to. Just imagine those three on a fast break.....WOW

If I were a team who's struggling then yes because for example: the Boston Cletics are stuggling and they need a ringer to get them into the playoffs. If the team is not struggling but a star player have a fued with the coach then yes because both teams benefit of having a star player swap (i.e. T-mac for Francis deal in 2004). If the team who is not struggling nor has a fued with the coach, then don't make that trade. The possible suitor for AI is: Dallas, Boston, Minnesota, LA Clippers, and Denver.

No I wouldn't. Especially if I had any young talent that needs to develop. AI dominates the ball more than any other player in the nba. He takes a min. of 25 shots per game. Is he a good player? Yes. But does he make his teammates better? No. The only way I would want him is if I was desperate for points and people in seats. Other than that you can keep him and his ridiculous contract.

yes i would want him on my team. sure he has a bit of an attitude but i think that attitude is purely what the game is all bout. i think that AI has played his heart out with the 76ers and has been **** on for it. i think that he is tired of being the only guiy on that tream that has to score. he feels that he has to take the game on his shoulders and no player should have to feel like they are the differance between a win or a loss. i think tha5t dallas or boston may be a good fit for him id say dallas more than boston. i think that allen has poured his heart out for the game and the great fans of philly but it has to end sometime and allen deserves a shot at a title. and i dont think philly is in that kind of contention

as for him being a ball hog well he doesnt really have a pippen as jordan had in the 90's to compliment him and to share some of the load. i think that philly has not gone after better players in order to make themselves a contender and i think allen is tired of being the work horse it is a team game and he want to go to a team that will play seriously and together

hell yeah i would want allen iverson on my team, the only reason why he is a ball hog is because he has to take the game into his own hands because his fellow teammates cannot do the job. Allen Iverson is one of the best point guards in this league if not the best, you think that if he was playing with better teammates like kevin garnett, shaq, steve nash that he would really be a bog hog?

Yes, most definitely I would want him. He's an All-time great right now. And his heart and fearlessness will instantly improve any team he goes to.
