Turmeric and fennugreek will give the skin an odor. It's not your nationality, but rather what you eat. Many Indians, BTW, have told me that Americans smell bad because of the meat they eat. Americans are used to the smell meat makes in our bodies, and Indians are used to the smells various spices make. If you get used to a smell, you don't notice it anymore.
I am not Indian, but I eat no meat and a lot of curry, so you'd probably think I smell like an Indian. The spicy odor should not be offensive to anyone - it's like a permanent perfume.

Had an Indian friend who had a smell problem. I asked him why & he said that he was wearing the same shirt for 4 days without washing it. What I really think is that, its not the race of a man but the food we eat that causes this B.O problem.

I once had this problem BEFORE I was circumcized as an adult. I could wash with soaps, shampoos etc & there'd still be a smell 1/2 an hour later
Got circumcized at age 28 & it hasn't been a problem since.
Not many Indians are Circumcized so get him circed.

Few persons area aware of their own body odor.
it is form their food and the fact that their clothing and skin is often in places where the coked food permetes the air with an odor.
ther are other reasons. It is not permenant.
you know how garlic can make a person smell in western cultures but in places wher weveryone eats lots of garlic no one notices the smell.

The only one i've heard of which is often said is it's because of their food ? The curry and the spices that sort of thing. I noticed some of my lebanese friends have it too except a different kind of smell, like garlic and tabouli... but not in a pleasant way.

I have few American, Philippians, srilankan, Chinese friends. I being an Indian, they smell terrible to me. I think its not only Indians who smell badly, every race will smell the other race terrible. not only because of eating habits, but their living and sleeping habits matter too. For example; To me a Chinese smells like a frog.

It is not because he's an Indian this is with a lot of people , it could be the food they eat or just there culture.

Perhaps it is TeePee Odor! They need to air out their teepees more often to get rid of the odors.
OOPS, were you talking about American Indians or men who are from the country of India?
If you were talking about men who come from India, the "smell" that they commonly carry about them comes from eating food spiced with curry. It is used frequently in most of their national dishes and can emnanate from their skin and off their clothing.

It is the spices that the people cook in their houses. So if you are cooking something that smells like crap, you might start to smell like crap too. People used to say that stuff to me too but not anymore.
